On April 7, 2020, Pomerantz LLP was appointed lead counsel in a securities litigation class action lawsuit against Qudian Inc., concerning materially false and misleading statements regarding its response to regulatory developments in China that threatened to negatively impact Qudian’s fiscal full year 2019 financial results, when in reality Qudian’s business was unprepared to mitigate the risks associated with these regulatory changes.
