Pomerantz Elevates Ari Basser to Of Counsel

Pomerantz is proud to announce the promotion of Ari Basser to Of Counsel.

Ari joined the Firm as an associate in April 2019. A key member of the Strategic Consumer Litigation Team, he represents consumers in unfair competition, fraud, false advertising, and auto defect actions that recover monetary and injunctive relief on behalf of class members while also advocating for consumer rights. Ari has successfully prosecuted claims involving California’s Unfair Competition Law, California’s Consumers Legal Remedies Act, the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, and the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act.

Ari plays an integral role in Pomerantz’s actions in state and federal courts against major automakers that challenge the failure of the automotive industry to abide by California’s Emissions Warranty law.

Ari is a graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law and is admitted to practice in California and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Central and Eastern Districts of California.
