Managing Partner Jeremy A. Lieberman Hosts Panel at ICGN-IIRC Conference

On December 7, 2016, Managing Partner Jeremy A. Lieberman hosted a panel session at the ICGN-IIRC Conference in London entitled: "Corporate Governance in Action: Case Studies of Petrobras, LIBOR & SAC Capital."

The session reviewed the developments of the Petrobras, Libor & SAC Capital cases examining the regulatory, corporate governance and litigation issues in each case and how shareholders could exert their rights against these companies. The panel will offer perspectives on the differences/similarities between the legal possibilities available in the North and South America and Europe to prevent misconduct whilst improving corporate health and building long-term shareholder value.

Also on the esteemed panel, chaired by Peter Swabey, Policy & Research Director of ICSA, UK, were Anne-Marie Jourdan, Chief Legal Officer, Fonds de Reserve Pour Les Retraites and Michael McCauley, Senior Officer, Florida SBA.
