Jaime Nolasco focuses his practice on securities litigation.

Prior to Pomerantz, Jaime first clerked for Judge Matthew M. Scoble of the United States District Court for the District of Alaska. From there, Jaime was an associate at a boutique litigation firm in Chicago, where he defended government entities pertaining to employment law, federal discrimination, federal government investigations, and complex civil rights litigation. Jaime further worked at a Chicago litigation firm focusing on class actions, multi-district litigation, employment discrimination, and mass product liability claims.

Additionally, Jaime interned for both Judge Virginia M. Kendall of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and then-Chief Justice Anne M. Burke of the Illinois Supreme Court. Jaime also interned at the Illinois Federal Defender Program, where he was awarded the Judge William J. Campbell Intern-At-Law Award, in recognition of Jaime’s work in criminal federal litigation.

Jaime graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and then Loyola University Chicago School of Law. During law school, Jaime served as a legal writing tutor and student clinician for a legislative & policy clinic.

Jaime is barred in Illinois and admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois and the Central District of Illinois.

In his downtime, Jaime supports the world champions, Chelsea Football Club, and takes care of his three-year-old Australian Shepherd, Juneau.
